You may have heard the misconception that Nubuck leather isn’t suitable for wet conditions, making it a poor choice for waterproof footwear. We’re here to set the record straight: that’s simply not true.

Here’s how to care for your BOATBOOTs:

1. Spray them thoroughly with waterproofing spray.
2. Allow them to dry naturally at room temperature for 24 hours.
   Tip: Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources during drying.

Once treated, your BOATBOOTs are ready to take on any stormy weather.

To keep your boots in peak condition, reapply the waterproofing spray periodically throughout the season. If the leather begins to absorb moisture, simply repeat the process: brush off debris, wipe them clean, and apply a fresh coat of spray.

For added care, invest in a good-quality brush. Use it to remove salt or dirt and to refresh the soft texture of Nubuck leather.
